AUGUST 11 Sunday
Dark & cloudy, so moved over to Y.C. in A.M.
Straightened things out on boat first. Then cleaned up Y.C. Read papers. A painting on big abstraction.
I did one of stone, steel & artificial grapes. Too timid & going back to Academy days.

In evening omitted supper & went to movies & Vaudeville. Saw Raleighs but they didn't see us. A whistled to them -

In afternoon Arthur arranged an "exhibition" on the floor of reproduction of Picasso, Kandinsky, Cezanne, Marin, O'Keeffe, himself & me. Most exciting.
He pouring over the present & near past. as to creativeness.
