Both up around seven, A before I after.
A to boat & to store & Edwards.
I doing a wash first.
In afternoon A working on ideas & color scheme for negro.
I did two small things - not particularly good.
After supper rowed over to see Hank & Norah fishing.
They here to wash up.
Showed them paintings of Northport sun rise [[insertion]] & pups [[/insertion]] Hank said it was [[underlined]] very lovely - [[/underlined]] a masterpiece. Norah much amused by one of Jimmy's pups.
I made them chocolate milk shakes. They home -
Then us to bed.

Wednesday AUGUST 28
A & I started out to look at bungalow Tony told us of as a good investment. Don't "like". Then to Huntington marketing. To Northport & stood making drawings at "our fence".
A trying to make a field go [[underlined]] down [[/underlined]] and away.
I made pencil drawing of barge full of houses - quite really funny.
In afternoon a [[strikethrough]] working [[/strikethrough]] [[insertion]] to Stieglitz & Helen Noulin [[/insertion]] here, I over to boat with little cakes expecting Norah for a tea party, but she didn't come. I made a small drawing with hard pastels.
In evening Hank & Holly here, Hank had to work so Holly stayed & he drove her down. Holly very much herself telling strange dreams and of California.
