Working on Liberty drawings.
Arthur telephoned Ruth Robertson to have flowers sent. Found burial is to be in Geneva. A Hard day. Arthur telephoned again in evening.

Tuesday OCTOBER 1
Scallop season opens -
Drawing and posing.
A good letter from Mary.

Holly here for the afternoon.
Arthur up to Huntington to get food, electric light bulbs etc. for Club meeting.

I made ham sandwiches, deviled eggs, & coffee, set table down stairs & cleaned room . A made fire & fixed stove with isinglass.
Also had beer, cheese, pickles, & pie.  All said it was "like old times" and seemed childishly delighted.
