I measured curtains - [[?]] them up. Cleaned place in A.M.
Arthur wrote to Mrs. Cobb, his Mother, & Paul, Bill - Alfy.
To Huntington in P.M. and to a Movie - very good one.
Also heard you cannot bounce a meat ball.

Sunday OCTOBER 27
I rearranged things in bed room. Arthur traded a piece of rope to Al for a bureau. A to boat, brought over a lot of things. In the after noon Chub & Douglas here, a pleasant time with them. Rode up Wall St. with them and walked back.
Spread out our town clothes against our early Monday morning take off.
I wrote note to Chub & sent her Mother's letter.
