NOVEMBER 19 Tuesday
Arthur had a nice letter from Bill. At 10 A.M. Armand Verone & a large Tony came, carried up stove and carried other down -
Arthur cemented pipe, we made a fire & it's grand!
Set about it amazed at its' grim "safe to be cracked" expression. Arthur suggested trailing vines up the sides or painting a few forgetmenots on it.
I cleaned and cleaned - arranged books in book case, & pressed some clothes.
Tom up to inspect stove, A showed him some paintings & illustrations.
Both to bed so early we were wide awake at 2 A.M. thinking it was morning.
