Tuesday DECEMBER 24
Both down to the Raleighs with presents. Both of them admired bed jacket & tie, Holly had wanted a corn popper and Hank seemed really very pleased with his presents. They gave us Vincent Van Gog's letters to his brother - a marvelous present. And chunk of Clara's fruit cake. Back and stuffed & started to cook turkey. Hank and Holly here in afternoon. Showed Hank the paintings, he liked [[?]] Pall the most, didn't like copper frame for it, think he's right.
In evening[[?]] did up Black's presents, set table (on Arthur's paint table) and swept room. Darned tired, & to bed.
