Thursday
Both had a cleaning time of it, cleared out closet, put eider downs away etc - etc -
Chub & Douglas here, brought lovely flowers -
I packed Bill's birthday box.
Arthur remade walnut & black frame for "Houses on Boat" painting.

May 22
Friday.
I did wash -
Colored Irving Vance photograph & mailed it.
Arthur made box & put sketch for Derrick in it and a Mickey Mouse toy, Ovaltine - Candy, bird house - map of our drive with them that day on top layer.
Arthur took me down to Hollys where I stayed till 6.
He went on down road. Made two grand studies of [[underlined]] "Pine Tree" [[/underlined]] Holly gave me some wonderful tulips - purple, blue & brown.
