Arthur brought boat up sans engine.  steered & the tide was power.
I rowed down & towed back row boat he latched to mooring as he went by.
I did a wash, sewed
Mailed photograph, 3rd. lesson to Irving Vance.
Holly here for afternoon.
Arthur got man here to look at base, they took it up & welded and returned it & Jim towed boat back.
Letter from Mother saying she'd be in N.Y. Thursday.

Wednesday.
Arthur & Jim working putting engine up all morning, then found it "rained" almost as hard as ever!
I sent telegram to Mother.
Pressed green dress -
In afternoon both to Huntington Arthur went to welding place & they refunded the $6.00.
Home, which I swept.
Arthur out & bought for $20.00 a 2 cycle Lathrop.
I wrote up diary.
