Arthur sent off long letters to Stieglitz & his mother & Paul.  I sent photographs of birds and order for bottle of medium to Irving Vance.  I reading up about painting on paper, but we decided I might as well do it as others I've done - no sizing at all.

Wednesday
I to Huntington on bus.  Arthur painted on "Wreck Oyster Bay."
Clint, Caroline, and Mary Torr here for dinner at noon.  In afternoon Arthur went clamming, got & sold, 25 [[cent symbol]] worth to Mrs. May.  Clint, kids, and I out rowing, and they off at 4 P.M. for Lynbrook.
