Arthur wrestling with waterfall - working on way of going on with it.  I finished red & blue leaf design.

Monday  Lovely letter from Bill - Arthur sweating blood over waterfall - does it - scrapes it out.  Trying to keep speed & rythm but increase solidity & color.  I started oak leaf design - got one drawn - I walked to Huntington - first walk there in long time.

Arthur called Bill up in evening - not ^[[a]] very satisfactory call - connection poor.
