Monday AUGUST 25
Arthur painted a large one of sky, land, boats, and water - very fine. 
Composed letter to Stieglitz - not mailed yet. 
I painted on "From bunch of flowers."
Got prints of photographs.
In evening we used lantern to put my oyster flags on paper. Could only get part on but that placed things. I read in "Men Seen" - very good. I wrote to Davidsons.

Tuesday - AUGUST 26
Both to Huntington - got more lumber and [[?]] board to paint on. Arthur got dinner - and what a French hamburg steak he did! while I coated 3 large panels white.
I drew in oyster stakes painting. Both down to Cross Channel for swims and snappers, two small fishes which we returned. 
In eve. I wrote a note to Miss Physioc and finished letter to Mrs. Dove.
