Friday  SEPTEMBER 26
I to dentist.  Mr. Converse came in in morning.  Said originally - "all you artists are crazy."  Arthur painted on acid green tree.  I lying down reading Vanity Fair in P.M. when Al yelled "Arthur" and there on the porch were Edie and Ralph Dusenberrie. Very prosperous - ^[[new teeth]] a Chevrolet and every thing.

Saturday  SEPTEMBER 27
Arthur painted on Acid Green Tree and also took Lord Castleross out of painting of black funnel and bricks.  I cleaned place. Clyde and Richard Eddy here to lunch - seeing about Mr. Breese's boat.  Holly and young Hank here in afternoon & Chub and Douglas here bearing grapes and flowers.  Us still here - though a bit exhausted.
