Thursday JULY 20
Both up early. Mrs O'Brien walked in. Cleaned paint + scrubbed floor. Arthur to town & found a wall paper that could be used. Wrong side out, a nice off-white All took loose paper off walls.
Tired & to bed early, about 9 I heard some one turning a key in lock. Woke Arthur up & he went to door, man hurried around side & stood under lilac bush. Arthur told him to get the hell off the place. He said "I'll go."
Paul appeared worried about Dorothy, Arthur in search of her in truck, found her in airfield. They back. Later Paul & a State trooper here, quite an evening.

Arthur for Mrs OBrien early. I held ends while she did ceiling. Arthur helping - to village etc.
