Wed - JULY 26
Letter from Dottie Rankin saying she'll be here first week in Aug.  Post card from Mother.  Arthur & Paul haying, Paul here to lunch & dinner, bringing dessert.  I cleaned up stairs room, they brought painted bed from 512 but no beds will go up stair case. So I moved bath room into dressing room, & we turned bath room into guest room.  They out haying again.  Good beans from garden for dinner.

Thurs - JULY 27
Arthur worked in garden, opened book boxes, I put them in book case, moving it, but later it had to be moved again, no good any where - Arthur helped do 3 loads of hay & took a bath in stream. Came in & invited me to lie down, I feeling a bit low again.  A to North St. house with pick & shovel, then to 512, got big wardrobe from barn - There again & got big wicker chair, & small chair, Paul out with 2 mirrors.  Arthur rearranged back room -
I laying down most of day - Wrote to Dottie Rankin in A.M.  Check for $105.00 on Mona ^[[& mooring]] from John Calderon - May want white row boat.
