Thursday AUGUST 17 Paul out to say we were expected there to dinner at noon, to village first, then to 512. A very nice time. All out here to look at gas well & Paul felt he'd like to stay up all night with it & did. Dorothy stayed here. [[end page]] [[start page]] Friday - AUGUST 18 Arthur got up swell breakfast sausages & popovers [[underline]] and [[/underline]] bacon & eggs, a regular Coolidge one. Every one back & forth to gas well. Finally at 11 P.M. Paul & Dorothy came back to house & said it was about over, one chance of going through one layer, about 12 ft. & finding it, but small one. So all to bed. A letter from Mc Causland saying she'd arrive about the 30th of Aug.
