Arthur to O'Brien's office at 9 A.M. after a flat tire & no starter. Mr O'Brien thinks not enough reason for farm loan, but is going to try to think of a way to put it about tile & brick plant no longer working. In afternoon I started to fix suit Elizabeth gave me, Arthur & I then for a walk along creek, found mist & charming white floors, "arrow heads," with pointed leaves.
In the evening Arthur & Paul to a wheat growers meeting. I read some of the Elizabethan poets. A letter from Davidson - he'll be here Mon. or Tues. next.
