Sunday SEPTEMBER 10
Arthur & Davidson out looking at fields. In afternoon the three of us called on Mr Weatherly, an amazing person. He looks like the Rembrandt old woman in the Metropolitan. Corn meal mush for Davidson & me for supper, a few mushrooms on toast for Arthur. All to bed early, after Arthur & Davidson had related boyhood amusements - a petty pair!
