Much rain. I lying down most of day reading Western Story, magazines George traded me.
Arthur & Paul sterilized & finished planting wheat.

Thursday. SEPTEMBER 21 Rain
Arthur out early, got 2 baskets of mush rooms. Paul here, a burglar had broken in one of offices in block. He & Arthur answered ad. of modern block in exchange for farm. Left name. Paul here later with big box delivered there - from the Davidsons - Fine rubber shoes, rain cloak, dresses, sweater, & blouses, also very warm bath robe.
Later Arthur & I to town & got coat, blue denim, Arthur has wanted. Paul & Arthur killed a rat!
I sewed on Elizabeth's suit,
Wrote to Mother in evening.
