Monday. NOVEMBER 27 A birthday letter from Mary, & note from Bill Dove - who'd just knocked on her door & given her our address. Paul here - he & Arthur going over taxes - bills - made checks out with most of 1,000 for price of land. I mended things. Nebel in for a minute with letters from his sister & brother in law to be sent to Stieglitz. [[end page]] [[start page]] Tuesday. NOVEMBER 28 Both wrote to E. & Bill Dove - mailed letters. In morning mail, letter from E - telling of Dove water color show in Springfield Museum she'd arranged. Clippings - review of it & one of Marin's retrospective show. Also - plum pudding. Two boxes from Dottie Rankin - one containing sweaters & other clothes, other 2 bags of Wheatsworth flour - Grand mail. Both to Geneva - Arthur matted water colors.
