Arthur painted on "Clothesline & Landscape."  I did up Christmas presents.  Neybel here in evening, looked at photographs & wants to photograph us.

Monday  DECEMBER 18
Paul here early, talked of "Oak" stoves some one had told of.  He drove down & looked at some, back to tell us.  We to town.
Mailed Xmas presents to; Mother's, Rankins, Bill Torrs, E. McC. Peggy & Su. Helen B.  Then to stove place, bought a wonderful Courtesan affair for $12.00 - Arthur slid it down plank & put it up, single handed.  Neybel here with camera, but no time or Arthur (who was down for stove pipe)  In P.M. we put oven on parlour stove & cleaned up a bit.
