Thursday  JANUARY 18  [[hand drawn star]]
Arthur pantographed 2 paintings; "Paul & horses" & "Grey building against grey sky." in A.M.  Paul here, Arthur drove him back & marketed.  Nebel in at noon, arranged for Arthur to do his drawings by a throwing on machine at Ex. Station.  Arthur did several: "Street down by Lake" [[strikethrough]] Rail [[/strikethrough]] "Train," "Twisted Trees,"  A letter from E. Arthur wrote to her.  I wrote to Elizabeth D. Matilda, & Epsie Morse.  Sent for free cosmetics like an idiot.

Arthur painted "Grey Building against Grey Sky" almost finished it in one day.  Very exciting and handsome.

Paul brought cot back, had strange clipping, anonymous he'd received.  A letter from Mr Lyman in Buffalo.  I made several cat & dog drawings.  Up late, temp for a week now.
