Wednesday DECEMBER 12 *
Arthur painted over with another color scheme Sun Rise with clouds over it.
I did two sketches in color - tempera - "Sun Drawing Water," or "Religious Sky," and "Strip of Ploughing."
Very pleased with color. Both for drive around Lake, & looking for wood burner stove. Just as we got home the Boswells came, invited us to a tea - we declined.
In evening hell to pay. Glass lamp ^[[lighted]] & other objects went in fire place.
