I up late. Arthur painted on "Summer." George brought load of kindling, sorted apples, hulled black walnuts.

We went to Commessos for dinner at noon. Arthur wrote to Bill on an ale mat. [[hand drawn image of round ale mat]]

In afternoon I painted on Barn & Beech Trees, still good. In evening Arthur wrote an order to Schneider. Mrs Eddington sent us a dozen swell biscuits.
