Mr O'Brien called to say Mr Gear was there about car, said $75.00 was lowest they would settle for.  Mr O B offered $37.50 - Later Mr Gear called up here, said he would call his office, thought they would take $50.00  George here filling things.
Arthur worked on Frames & Peach Orchard.  I started "Abstraction."  Mrs McKay sent McBrides review ^[[of abstractions at Whitney Museum.]]  Nebels here in evening.

Arthur finished "Peach Orchard"  Marketed - I repainted what I did Monday, & more on Abstraction - Squares - Think it is perhaps the best painting I've done.  Both out to see George, took him bottle of ale etc.  He not there, saw him in barn & he's better.
