Thursday, July 25, 1935 Rain - thunder storms - Mrs. O Brien couldn't come so Arthur, Bill & I cleaned house for Mother's arrival. I wrote to Dottie. Arthur & I to Troutmans, got dozen petunias - 4 tiny heliotrope & some nicotena. [[end page]] [[start page]] Friday, July 26, 1935 Fixing house for Mother. First sun for 9 days. Arthur, Bill and I to Syracuse to meet Mother - an hour & a half drive. She looked well & not awfully tired. Home, had a little food & to bed.
