Arthur and I spent most of morning fixing sewing machine. Put parts on. I patched grey pants, stiched blouse etc. Cleaned over room:
Nebel here with basket of fruit.
Arthur mounted more water colors.

Wednesday, September 4, 1935
Arthur & I to Geneva - I got old fashioned pen.
I painted "Grapes, Plums & Leaves" in afternoon.
Paul here talking to Arthur - may go back to Dorothy.
Arthur sent to L.L. Bean for coat for himself - shoes for me.
Bill back from N.Y. He, Marion & Paul here to supper.
