Both, Arthur more - worked on oil stove heater most of day. George here - He & Arthur put old Courtesan coal stove on front porch with sign on it.

Sunday, November 17, 1935 *
Arthur laid in "Abstraction of Cows" in tempera - very distinguished color -
I up late - nothing -
Both to Phelps in late afternoon - to Old Hotel for a drink. A wonderful blue sky & blue road.
I fall so inescapably into my own wagon wheel ruts - know so well I need to cut across and make new ones but seem not to have the energy - or am simply too lazy. Also lack the direction in which to cut. Altogether low lately.
