Arthur exchanged oil for wood stove in his studio.  I washed clothes, restored house.  Bill here - had a small & petty note from Alexander.

I started & read most of "The Surrounded" by D'Arcy McNichols. good.  Arthur called hospital sending [[strikethrough]] Nebel called. [[/strikethrough]] greetings to Margaret Hutchinson.
Also both talked to Mabel over phone.

* Arthur called Stieglitz found he is to start April 14th.
Bill called - had telegram from Brooksie asking if he would take dark room job.  Bill answered it - said he would.

People moved in to other farm house. 

* Stieglitz said he'd sent Sherwood Anderson Harbor in Light.
