I stayed in bed all day. Had cold & felt achy interiorally.

Arthur painted. "Gray Moon" - beautiful and moving.

Bill & Marion here in afternoon.  I finished reading Murray's manuscript on Joyce, and "The Surrounded," by D'Arcy McNicholl.

Arthur read Murray Goodwin's piece in Transition "Invisible Wires."  Laughed till he cried.

Mrs Hyna called - a Mr Algier from Syracuse wanted to rent store in block for Pet Shop - 40.00  Arthur called Bill who met him there with key.  Man would not pay more than $50.00 but would advance 2 months rent.  So we said yes.
