Arthur wrote Davidsons.  [[strikethrough]] Put [[/strikethrough]] Advertisement came out of Dove Farms.  Arthur & I to Geneva twice.  Arthur to see O'Brien, he said they wouldn't take land for taxs.  A then to see Pat Conner - [[strikethrough]] he [[/strikethrough]] offered him this place & strip back ^[[to Premption]] for 18,000.  Or other farm.  He interested if he sells farm he has.  Second trip, bought linen to stretch canvas & 2 blouses, one me, one for Marion for birthday * present. Bll here - brought Ulysses - from Bookshop.

* Advertised "Loto" in a special "ad." $3.00 worth - Bill here in A.M.  Arthur with him to look at overcoat.  A. to see Rogers at bank, put $200. in bank account for me.  To see Comesso - nothing tax now about buying land.  We both to De Forest Weatherly's - he not home, left letter.
