Arthur out marketing.  George here.  I cleaned.  Arthur & I to Taylor's in P.M. & to Comessos for jug of ale - McGreery called - no lights.  [[circled]] Mrs. Craib called asking if we'd had word. [[/circled]]  Both to Block to meet electrician.  Couldn't find fuse.

Arthur worked on experiment on paintings.  Jimmy here, Arthur knocked down sign for Paul's wheel chair.

I took walk - floods still high - part of bridge washed away.

Washed hair.  Wrote diary.

Mrs. Emerson called - said "the janitor said he was moving into basement apt."  Arthur wrote letter to Paul.
