Post cards from Mother. Letter from Paul, they expect to return tomorrow.  Arthur & I out early - mailed letters to kids & Chub - A. made a number of small color notes for paintings.  I worked on "Frost" - made it much better.
Both to Geneva in afternoon. Went to store, saw both Iredales. Went to Wills to look at cognoleum. Mr. Newland called up he'd finished in evening.  Mrs. Wheat called up.  George here finishing f[[?]] gravel. A. to Jo's had tire changed. Put around rat poison.

The day the painting news came.

A letter from Stieglitz saying - The University of Minnesota has bought Arthur's painting of Boat (Shorty's boat) for $1000 - $500 to come to Arthur - rest to go to Place. Arthur sent Stieglitz a telegram. Paul telephoned he was here - Later, asking us to meet him, Mildred & Max & couple of others at Comessos for dinner.  Arthur worked on crates for paintings.
I washed many windows.  We went to Comesso, then all here. Danced - etc.
