Saturday, April 25, 1936 Arthur & I to gallery at 10.30. Mr. & Mrs. Phillips young son, Mr. Watkins there. Mr. Phillips first faltered by abstractness of it. Decided to take 3 paintings & 4 water colors. 3 paintings $1000, 4 water colors $150.00. $1150.00 to be paid during 14 months. Bill & Marion there. We to lunch. Marion & I to Bleecker St. I made drawing of building. Out to dinner at drug store - a day. [[end page]] [[start page]] Sunday, April 26, 1936 N.Y. A.M. - Geneva - P.M. Finished packing - had large breakfast with Bill & Marion. Had pleasant trip. I made a few small notes of drawings. Home - found Marc & girl - Paul soon, & girl's sister. They all left. To bed early.
