* Arthur made drawing in park - the cutting down of poplars. In afternoon started a painting of it - lovely.
I mailed bracelet to Mother - for her birthday - the first time out doors in several days.
Our colds still rampant.

Wednesday, October 20, 1937 *
Rain in A.M.
I to dentist, had treatment - cashed Savings Fund check for $16.00
Fine funny letter from Mary. Card from Mary. Card from Marian. Arthur painted the white out of poplar tree painting.
In afternoon - it being nice & mild - we drove around Lake & ^[[then back]] out Preemption Road.
Stopped at Prontis.
Picked up 4 small cabbages, & leaves.
Later - both wrote the Rehms, & I wrote to Mother, Dottie, Bill & Marian - little letters.
