NEED HELP: problems with W and M. Is it WXM or MXM? shows up on several dates around this one.
I have putting WXM. I suspect its a type of paint or medium, but I don't know for sure. thomasc
I believe it is WXM, probably 100% of the time, although his M's and W's can look remarkably similar. I think it stands for "Wax Medium", which he talks about extensively in 1942...formulating it himself with much trial and error.
