Tuesday 30 July at Windsor Av all day with Annie.  I work hard putting my books & papers in boxes to be carted to Standish 82.

Wednesday 31 July  truckman does not come at 730 call him
up & says as it rained so hard last night he didn't get out early to hire a man but he will with horses in the morning first thing.  I have a letter from Carol which shocks [[?]] Miss Lily is denouncing me & threatening to get the government after me for not doing work of necessity in war time.  Pretty good this!  pretty good - Stop in to see Joe who is hard at work and has a big heap of orders ahead of him.  Miss

Turner came in [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] and flits around on her toes.  Says she's going out into the country as it is her day off.  Asks me to go.  Continued to dance around and keeps twirling about me and smiling.  Joe keeps at work and pretty soon the sun comes out.  Then in comes Seymour from Provincetown as [[?]] is traps.  He wants to paint Miss T right away.  Goes out for canvas & soon gets started  J returns from Mrs. T & now 1130 I write and ask to decide what next move to make.  Evs paint Miss Turner in ballet costume.

  Thursday 1 August  hot  move from Windsor Av.  Terrible ordeal awakened by moving men ringing bell and yelling at the front door.  Hows to jump up & pull on my clothes & let him in.  big dark farmer looking man who looks at me quizzically as well might as I haven't a cent to pay
