[[image: sketch that takes half page. Girl/woman with short light colored hair sitting at table. The background is very dark. She is facing to the left. In front of her is a very large cup. Her right arm is raised and it appears she is holding a spoon/fork close to her mouth. There could be a newspaper on the table near her left arm.

find a head of Gen Gov John Winslow in A B [[?]] History that is attrib to Blackburn which has [[a?]] strong look like the supposed Coply of Rev Dan Greenleaf Can it be that Blackburn did both or did Copley both.? [[illegible mark]] Photogravure of Copleys Hancock here in this volume but I have pretty near decided to use the print in Ishams History of Painting for reproduction of Hancock
Don't consult this photogravure as the head lacks tonal value & has little of the fine quality of the original.
