some of his findings about Copley. In every case this esteemed authority rounded to my view though it took time & some queer somersaulting on his part. Most satisfying to me was Harts endorsement of my opinion about The "Coplys" and by Mr H L Pratt, for though he had endorsed them (I was given to understand) before sale, he finally, in making his catalog, came identically to my opinion and even [[strikethrough]] came [[/strikethrough]] very close to using my own published words with regard to one of them. Mr Hunt made some famous blunders in Copley premises. He was however not without skill in sliding out of position. One of his most attractive blunders will find righting in my coming book which you await of cause with bated breath. Meantime enjoy, my dear sir, enjoy such worthy artistic demonstrations as the section so honored by Copley may at present offer, the well neigh perfect exhibition by the Voses of works by the great colorists Ryder & Fuller and the interesting contemporaneous show of contemporary art exhibit [[strikethrough]] by [[/strikethrough]] through the courtesy
of Mr. Atwood & "On the Moors".

Transcript The Hanging On the - Moors
I was priviliged past year write a short
note about the Ex at the gallery as the shoon[[guess]]. [[strikethrough]] Im [[/strikethrough]] This year, Mr. Atwood having been so solicitous, I am constrained to pay again the compliment of a word. You will miss [[strikethrough]] this year [[/strikethrough]] that the exhibition is remarkable for the hanging - indeed a veritable tour de force of hanging. One must preforce pay heed [[strikethrough]] considerable attention [[/strikethrough]] to hanging in war time. Hangings of the refractory are in order. To be hung at all is enough for most but to be hanged by [[strikethrough]] Miss [[/strikethrough]] Miss Jennie Pieterson is too exquisite an
honor at all. That moots it that there are paintings - for are there not the hanging? And such a justifiable and righteous hanging, such a serious and high minded hanging - No sordid prejudices, no [[?]] & no ratings in the scales of who's who - no elevations of friend no slighting of rival no obscuration of personae non grata
