Port of Tom Rev Cary is sitting little man in gown arms folded  original concept arms seem short  head large figure rather dwarfish  head has sort of impish smile  half mischief half benevolence  Must be very early Interesting thing.  Photo of De Blois interests me more today than formerly. [[Thus?]] interest & might use it.
The photo of Winslow Warren shows a
portrait of most remarkable power there
is a young colonial swell in London, chesty snobbish insufferable character, but inimitably done.  Masterpiece of technique.  Highlight traveling along bridge [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] and ridge
of nose very simply planted heavily impasted.
Port of John Sedlay too is interesting  square rugged face sitting at desk.  hard unhandsome face.  Mrs Sedlay is very modern  very modern
And Benj Pickman is eternally in the wind  great thing Bayley has fine photo of the Jere Lee
