  These in white frames are in reading room which is reached by two short stairways from the gallery  fine reading room on level of ground with windows rising high enough to throw in a proper light.

      painted a multitude of ports in Am.  Copley when well off was glad to leave port. p. etc. etc. Copley's industry never flagged, & he is said to have painted at best 290 oils 40 crayons & 19 miniatures.  His portrayal of Manfred & Lord Heathfeld is in Nat. Port Gall
