  Scarcely too much can be said in appreciation of the efforts of Mr. P. E. Konody of London for the manner in which he accomplished the composition of the Canadian War Memorials.  [[striketrough]] the closest [[/strikethrough]] These works which represent not only Canadian but Great British art have been shown at the Anderson Galleries for some [[weeks?]] and go from New York to Toronto.  By far the most elaborate war show we have seen  It was a little unfortunate that its date should have found itself so near the tag end of the season.  However it is important as a matter of record to say much regarding.

   Wednesday  over to see Dickinsons new studio.  Find Sam Wood in there.  He has fine portrait of self in check shirt and a good one of his father.

Eve with Dickinson and Jersey Wolcott over to the Chambers bldg where W pounds out mag copy on typewriter with marvelous rapidity.
