Marys first child was Joan 2nd Margaret Wm 3rd child 1564 22 April 65 father an alderman.  As Bailiff he entertained actors at Stratford  [scribble] Had other ch.  Ann Gilbert Richard Edmund and a second Joan.  father lost money late in life + borrowed.  A creditor hounded him and in 86 John S was deprived of his aldermans [[jersey?]] gown.
Sons attended free grammar school of Stratford.
Wm apprentice to father [[as butcher?]] and married at 18 a girl eight years older named Hathaway.

His biog says Anne had a d. by Shakespeare 6 months after m. bap Sussanne.  1583 - 1585 twins were born  left Stratford 1585 & saw little of fam for 11 yrs.  S got into trouble with other youngsters stealing deer from Sir Thos Lucy.
