Shakespeare after 11 yrs returned to Stratford straightened out the family affairs and made a home thee he still resided in London for most of the year But made at least one annual visit to Stratford on Avon Gentleman.

In 1597 S bought the largest house in town for 60 £. and in 1608 after making much money in London playing & writing settles for old age in Stratford
In 1616 his youngest d. Judith was married & in April died at age 52
No clue to Shakespeare's religious opinions what they were we have neither the means nor the warrant for discussing  many contemptible references in the plays to Puritans  we may dismiss as idle gossip Davies's irresponsible report that "he dyed a Papist."
Shakespeare made no mention of wife in his will.
