Meet Albert Rosenthal at Ferargils. Price introducing him. P says to R Do you know Mr. J.B.? R says I do not but I've read his things for years. Find R a dark rather handsome Jew not unlike John Levy in type though Levy is clean shaved while R. wears a black mustache canted forward under his nose and his lip shaved over the corners of his mouth. Talked incessantly tells of CH Harts deals with him and says Hart would never endorse a picture unless he could make some money out of its sale. R tells of the [strikethrough] Bad [/strikethrough] Biddle Washington which he tried to sell it to Pratt. and of Hart condemning it. Tells a long story of Pratt's dissatisfaction in the bargain. Rosenthal says he used to know Hassam's father in Boston and H's father remarked that R was same type of dark skin as himself. Rosenthal rants on and on and occasionally I pull him up with a word or two. Price sits near and after its all over he says to R referring to me with a laugh. I never heard him listen to anyone as long as that ever before. Price says he'll have a card in my next number & says he'll adv. Charles [[drawing?] exclusively. I suggest printing one of the cuts of Bs [[drawings?]] from Prices catalog. He [[strikethrough]] [[gr?]] [[/strikethrough]] agrees. I say some kind things to Rosenthal about the pictures he has on hand at Feragils. His standing girl I tell him is better than the [[Parbell?]] group on the wall. R seems very pleased
