Waldemar says "see Tom Sheedy.  X Oct 4 date of year ago;
   Schwolsky says $50 will clear the whole matter of my goods I told him I'd have to see first if everything is there. The said "all right see Sup. of Buildings Mason at the Municipal Bldg and think it over." It was near 5 too late to see anybody but on a chance I went down to the City Storehouse I was told it was in Ed Balfe's old place on Sheldon St. but there they said it had moved over to new building in the meadow. So I went down there through the sun. The heat was awful but when I got there I found the night watchman, an Irishman knew all about the stuff pointed out the building where it was and when I asked him if I could look it over he [[strikethrough]] said [[/strikethrough]] hesitated and at first refused but when I told him of my anxiety & that I had to return to New York tonight he went over with me. He said there's a good baby carriage there that someone ought to have. It would cost $75 today. He mentioned an ice box and I told him he could have it. I found the place dry and all right a cement floor and all that And there in the corner piled up was all my stuff It occurs to me now I'll offer the Jew $25 and give the yard man something but first I must arrange to store it. I'll ask Gert to let it in her place. & then - here over the page a list of the things I remember.
