In the tree, but about 80% concentrated in the [[insertion]] branches & twigs of [[/insertion]] one big spreading limb was a great congregation of birds, all feeding very busily, appearing to be picking at the oak blooms for insects or something on the bloom. All species named except the Blackburnian were seen within the first five minutes of viewing the tree. After that 5 minutes more birds began arriving, in some instances stirring up much darting and flitting about, some leaving, and causing so much restless shifting about the tree that I no longer counted numbers.
