June 24. [[red underline]] George [[/red underline]] left for the Adirondacks. Evening after supper I drove Celine and Nina to New York in [[strikethrough]] littlle [[/strikethrough]] little car to see "The Dictator."

June 25. Still beautiful cool weather. Lunch at Chemists Club. [[red underline]] Celine [[/red underline]] has a [[red underline]] suffragist [[/red underline]] Lawn Party. Evening supper at Mouquin

June 26. Heavy rains. Celine went to Lewisohns lawn party of charity association workers.  I went to New York. University Club. took supper with [[red underline]] Charles Lufbery [[/red underline]] who is to return to France

June 27 (Sunday). Home all day, except afternoon Celine and Nina and I went out in little car [[strikethrough]] but [[/strikethrough]] to Rye but were overtaken in violent rainstorm, and [[strikethrough]] I [[/strikethrough]] we had to return.
