Charge one hour to Royal B.P. Co. for letter dictating etc. After lunch drove to New Rochelle stopped sometime to see cottage and monument of Thomas Payne then with Hendriksen went to see Yacht Autan which [[strikethrough]] did [[strikethrough]] did not please me.  Took ferry to Sea Cliff then over lovely roads to Baysie Yacht Club.  There saw Yacht Cygnet about 37 feet long and 8'8" beam.  This is the best planned boat of the three I have seen, is in excellent condition and very clean.  Am I really geting old? -- I know that a few years ago I would have felt intensely enthusiastic to be able to buy such a boat

and now it leaves me quite indifferent and I cannot make up my mind whether it is worth the trouble.  Took supper at Mouqin met Schmalz there who looks very thin and sickly, he tells me he has been very ill and he unddoubtedly still looks it. [[underlined]] July 1, 1915.  Rather warm to day.  Told to Celine about boat then went to Yacht Club here to see whether I can get Moorings.  Janitor says he can take care of her.  Then I made up my mind to offer $2000 for boat but not a cent less.  Very little doing to day.
