Engine and boat behaved excellently and everything seems to prove that the boat is in excellent condition. My first real excursion with the new boat. Put my yachting togs on! - like a real captain of [["the Prout"! ?]] Left here about 10:30 A.M and were back about 5:45 P.M. The two [[red underline]] plate-glass [[/red underline]] [[strikethrough]] windows [[/strikethrough]] ^[[doors]] are now [[red underline]] entirely [[/red underline]] in place and polished and cleaned look beautiful. Early to bed. During the night I awoke and read [[red underline]] thru three volumes of Motor books! [[/red underline]]

here for lunch went with him on [[red underline]] Cygnet [[/red underline]] to Nyack and back. [[strikethrough]] Rains Drizzle [[/strikethrough]] Light rain

Aug 30. Home all day arranging matters for [[red underline]] Yacht [[/red underline]] and picking out [[red underline]] charts [[/red underline]] etc. We are getting good reports about molding mixture [[red underline]] 650 made with Cresol. [[/red underline]]

Aug 31. Sunny pleasant weather. [[red underline]] Good orders. [[/red underline]] Went to buy more [[strikethrough]] stuf [[/strikethrough]] goods for [[red underline]] yacht [[/red underline]] in Yonkers then went to N.Y to buy [[red underline]] fishing tackle  and electric fixtures. [[/red underline]] Took supper at Chemists Club. home with 8:45 P.M.

Sept 1. 1915. Left early for New York to meeting of General [[red underline]] Bakelite Co.  May and Swan [[/red underline]] away. [[strikethrough]] Sales last month [[/strikethrough]] Deliveries last month = [[red underline]] $39000. [[/red underline]] It looks probable that we shall sell [[red underline]] $400.000. [[/red underline]] Mausolf Hasslacher and Williams about [[red underline]] Schleusner [[/red underline]] read the minutes. Short meeting [[red underline]] everybody seems pleased. [[/red underline]] Then went to [[red underline]] Porter's [[/red underline]]
