inside shelter. Got in gasoline, went to custom house. Clerk there said I [[red underline]] should have reported when [[/red underline]] leaving but I said I did not know but he made no obstacles whatever I gave him my name and address description of boat he asked me whether I had made any purchases in Canada, did not even ask me to swear to my declaration nor sign any documents. He did not even come with me to inspect the boat and the whole enumeration barely took a few minutes. Went into a grocery store to buy newspaper and some potatoes.
